Business Hours

Our office is open from 9:00am until 5:00pm Monday through Thursday, and 9:00am until 4:00pm on Friday.

Prescription Refills

If you require a refill on any prescription that one of our providers has ordered for you, please call our office and leave a message on our refill line. You can reach the refill line by calling (770) 214-2800 and following the prompts for refills OR by dialing extension 45. When you are calling for a refill, please leave your name (with the spelling of your last name), date of birth, phone number, drug name, strength, directions, and the pharmacy name and phone number. Please keep in mind that all prescriptions must be approved by the provider and it may, at times, take a couple of days before it is called into your pharmacy. We will do our best to be as prompt as possible. Written prescriptions require a two (2) day notice before they will be ready to be picked up. Some medications require precertification with your insurance company, and this may take up to two (2) weeks to be processed. Please call the pharmacy to check if a refill has been called in before calling the office back. (Please allow 48 hours.)

Phone Calls

If you need to contact our office for any medical problems, questions, test results, scheduling, or any other issue related to your care, please leave your name (with the spelling of your last name), date of birth, phone number, and a detailed message. If you are calling for an appointment, please call our main number and follow the prompts to leave a message for a scheduler. If you are calling for a medical issue or test results, please leave a message for one of our nurses or medical assistants. Please be advised that our office has a high call volume, and that we will make every attempt to call you back in a timely fashion. Messages are checked throughout the day. If your call is received by 4:00pm, it will be returned by the end of the day. Calls received after 4:00pm will be handled the next business day. Please do not leave multiple messages, as this only delays us in calling patients back. If your call is not returned within these guidelines, please call and ask to speak with the front office manager. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Walk-ins

Due to the high volume of patients cared for by our practice, it is very difficult for our staff to interrupt the flow of the office by trying to accommodate patients who “walk-in”. We respectfully request that if you have a question, need a refill or samples, or otherwise need to speak with one of our nurses or medical assistants, that you call and leave a message on the appropriate voicemail. Phone calls are answered in a timely fashion. If you feel that you have a medical emergency and cannot wait to be called back, we ask that you go to the nearest Emergency Room for evaluation.

Cell Phone Usage

Cell phones are permitted in the front waiting area only. All cell phones must be turned off upon entering the treatment area. We also ask that you refrain from using your cell phone at the check-in and check-out areas, so that you may have the best possible communication with our providers and staff.

Scheduling

To schedule, reschedule, or cancel an appointment for an office visit or procedure, please dial (770) 214-2800 and follow the prompts for scheduling. Our providers offer a variety of appointment times, and we do our best to accommodate our patients’ needs. If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, we ask that you give at least 48 hours notice.

Appointment Times

When you come into our office for your appointment, please be aware that you will be seeing our providers only for a consultation and/or exam. You will not have any procedures or testing in our office that would require fasting or any other special preparation. If you are a new patient, we ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your appointment time with your completed patient information packet, driver’s license, insurance card(s), list of medications, and any referrals or records given to you by your referring physician. Patients coming for follow-up appointments should arrive 15 minutes before scheduled appointment times. In order to be fair to all of our patients, we may reschedule those who arrive late or without completed paperwork.

Financial

Payment is due at the time of your visit, unless prior arrangements have been made with the billing department. We ask that you come prepared to pay any co-pays and/or deductibles required by your insurance company. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Discover, Visa, and Mastercard. If you would like to know the amount of these co-pays and deductibles before you come to the office, please call (770) 214-2800 ext. 40, no more than 3 business days prior to your appointment.
